Males and females both need it for healthy reproductive functions.

Antioxidant Properties:

Provitamin A Carotenoids: 

These are substances derived from plants that the body can utilize to create active vitamin A. Beta-carotene, which is present in orange and yellow fruits and vegetables like carrots, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, and mangoes, is the most well-known provitamin A carotenoid. Additionally, carotenoids are present in leafy green vegetables like spinach and kale.

Diets that are varied and well-balanced usually give most people enough vitamin A. However, supplementation or particular dietary changes may be required in some circumstances, such as disorders caused by vitamin A deficiency. It’s important to note that excessive intake of vitamin A can be toxic, so it’s essential to consume it in appropriate amounts as recommended by dietary guidelines.
